Going Live

Mockingbird Holsters started with frustration, and a little bit of curiosity. I wanted a plastic holster that wouldn’t melt in a hot car, and I wanted to test out some holster design ideas to see if I could improve on the common forms. I found a way to deal with the hot car problem pretty quick, but getting to a good design was harder. After iterating for a while, I arrived at something that might be good enough to walk on its own. The only way to know was to try it.

I’m starting small. I’m only offering one color for now. This initial phase is going to teach me a lot, and I am committed to doing what it takes to see that through. I’ve built and tested my systems with that expectation in mind. One way or another, Mockingbird Holsters will provide reasonably priced, thoughtfully designed holsters and accessories that Americans can depend on for the worst day of their life.
