Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot.
Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
safety considerations for holsters and accessories
Do not modify your holster or accessory in any way. Our warranty will not cover modifications. Modification can compromise the safety and structure of the product.
Do not attempt to use a holster with a firearm it was not designed for.
Routinely inspect holsters before use.
With a compatible EMPTY firearm pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION, cock the action, insert the firearm into the holster, then remove it. Make a point of keeping your fingers clear of the muzzle while you do this. If the action fires during this process, discontinue use immediately and contact us.
With a compatible EMPTY firearm, check that the holster has adequate retention for your level of activity and method of carry. Adjust the retention if needed.
Check that all mounting screws are tight. Maintain the tension in the bolts if needed.
Check for wear and damage. Pay attention to bends and places with inside corners, as these are the places most likely to crack. If you notice cracking or excessive wear, discontinue use and contact us for replacement.
Follow safe firearm handling, draw, and reholstering practices. We recommend working with an instructor or taking a class.
